This picture is a rare view of a SOSSAGE (Save Our Sussex Sheds Archaeological Group Expedition). We had a Time Team dig at the site of a Woodhenge Maker's Workshed hidden in the Sussex Weald. It was remarkably well preserved, giving lots of clues as to forest life at the time, and it has been extensively recycled - garden fence, luxury compost bin and sacrificial fire break around bonfire; other parts have descended, anti-phoenix like, into ashes in the noble cause of heating our house.
